Spiritual evolution on Earth
If we humans could see ourselves as viewed from space, we would see that “we are more alike than we are unalike.” (Maya Angelou)
If we humans could shift our perspective to see from that distance, we would stop bickering.

We would stop judging who is farther along in their evolution. We would see how little variation there is among us, really.
We would see that we cannot afford to be at war.
We would apply all our energy to cleaning and restoring our physical environment.
If we traveled long and far enough, we would see how rare in the universe is spiritual evolution as advanced as found on Earth. We would see a general pattern in the evolution of intelligent life in the universe that, just like the proliferation of unchecked species on Earth, devastates its home environment unless it can grow towards a mature, sustainable use of resources.
We would quit blaming the government and do all we could to evolve to that level of spirituality that acts wisely in the moment and plans for the future.
Accomplishments in human spiritual evolution
Experts in human development refer to 5 basic categories of variability in human personalities. The understanding is that these aspects have been conditioned by social and spiritual influences in human evolution.
To avoid confusing the spiritual evolution for physical or technical development
Well, good luck with that. We humans are superstitious still and the remnants of outgrown notions remain–the idea of God as a stern elder gentleman wielding power and judgment, the idea of ourselves as blessed by circumstances (in end-stage capitalism and ever increasing resource exploitation while millions suffer from hunger and devastation to their home environment). We see what we want to see and we wish for a world that doesn’t exist.
All we can do is be aware of our limitations. Our habits of thought that keep us thinking everything is fine, when clearly it isn’t. To avoid all confusion, we can see the difference in levels between spiritual agency and physical forces. We can perceive clearly predictable outcomes and act accordingly, if we wish to continue our evolution and to avoid exhausting the planet’s resources, expecting a last-minute rescue from a savior.
God has set in motion the forces of evolution and the forces of natural selection. Within this pattern, there is tremendous variability. It appears to be chaotic, but within this overall pattern, there is a natural progression towards complexity and ultimately towards Knowledge for intelligent races who have self-awareness.Unseen Forces in the Universe

This is a source of great confusion amongst the scientists of your world and indeed the scientists of many worlds. You have overlapping realities here. They are functioning in the same environment. One is discernible through your senses. The other is discernible through a deeper sense within you. One is visible and tangible. The other is invisible, but so very present. You therefore need to allow for this seeming contradiction of these two overlapping realities to exist in order to appreciate and to begin to comprehend the nature of God’s work in the universe.Unseen Forces in the Universe
Where our spiritual evolution is taking us
It is time to outgrow creation stories and the end of the world ideas, for reality exists so far beyond these things. It is time now to look to the heavens, to contemplate the great expanse of the universe and to reconsider your fundamental beliefs and ideas, if they have been formulated at all.
Human spirituality has been limited to this world and to local regions within this world, and to the history of those regions and those races and those peoples. But Greater Community Spirituality is a spirituality of the entire universe. —The Origin
