Friends Beyond This World

Unlikely Friendships?

I am aware humanity is not alone in the universe, in the Greater Community of intelligent life. Based on my own difficulties in fitting into my family and culture here, I even suspect I have lived lives in other worlds. But is it stretching too far to consider I might have friends in other worlds–even now?

The Butterfly Effect

Yes—though this strains my abilities to imagine how–in being part of a greater whole we actually all impact each other, even to the ends of the universe! How far do our actions to gain greater justice and freedom for members of our community extend in creating a resonance of support for communities across the world? They may not share our language but all humanity shares our need for evolution of the soul. Does it stop here or does the impact spread across the universe and beyond? What are the limits of the yearning of our immortal soul?

“Feel then, the greatness of the universe in which you live. Feel, then, the opportunity you have to serve the Greater Community of which your world is a part.” (STK; 211)

How this blows my ideas of the world in which we live, and the impact possible in our interactions, light years out into the universe and beyond. How small we see ourselves and conduct ourselves when we are actually part of an infinitely greater reality.

“You serve your great friends within the world and your friends beyond, for the work of Knowledge goes on everywhere. It is the attraction of God. It is the application of good.” (STK; 211)

Shared Values/ Shared Support

And so I return to my consideration of friends beyond this world. It is highly possible that they look very different than we do and their way of life quite different than ours but, being ALL God’s children and ALL containing the seed of God within, I expect there are some races that share values with us across the light years. Perhaps that force which seeks to evolve humanity is pushing for the evolution of all sentient beings in the universe.

If you consider reincarnation a possibility—and I do—then why would the lives we’ve lived over eternity be limited to this one world alone? I sense that I have had many lifetimes lived on other worlds, with relationships unlike any I have had on Earth. And yet, there was deep connection and great friendship. I seek to be a force for good in the world. If there are those seeking this for other worlds then I am supported by them, and they by me.

Challenging Times Call for Great Relationships

There is no doubt that I have come to serve in the world at this time of great challenge. Global warming and the depletion of our world resources are just part of this, for we are also being visited by races from the Greater Community that wish to have our Earth for their own.

I suspect that part of my contribution at this time has to do with my innate experience from lives spent in the Greater Community. I do not yet know how this part of me can be of service but I am open to the possibility. If you have a sense that this may be true for you, you may also be facing a mysterious journey. Our lives are important because our contributions—and that of our allies from other worlds—are essential at this time.
