Requirements for Free Races in a Competitive Universe

The human race is on the brink of

becoming a free race in a universe where competition has been carried to greater levels than you understand.

To persist in human beliefs, preferences and privileges based on assumptions that do not recognize the existence of competing forces is to remain naive and handicapped.

There are three requirements for retaining independence among other races in the universe:

1. Discretion

You who broadcast everything out into space around you will have to realize that to be free, you must be discreet. This is a great lesson for humanity to learn as it stands at the threshold of a universe full of intelligent life.

Discretion goes hand in hand with discernment: where to share, what to follow. In the competitive environment of a fully occupied and populated universe, we are required to take responsibility for what and how we communicate, what movements we align with and follow.

In this time of “post-truth,” when good is bad and bad is good, it is desirable to observe more than to be observed:

• To discern what is aligned with good vs. forces of dissonance
• To build strength by following that alignment and
• To recognize its fragility and guard against its vulnerabilities
• To understand how religious symbols and beliefs can be manipulated with an aim to overwhelm, intimidate, dazzle, impress, or otherwise create a feeling of helpless happenstance, nurturing the feeling of being subject to forces, a victim.

There are three requirements for retaining independence among other races in the universe:

2. Self-sufficiency

How do we escape the blandishments of would-be rescuers who wish to take advantage of our ignorance and feelings of helplessness?

How do we resist feeling intimidated and overwhelmed, generating feelings of doom and futility?

What will it take to find a way to overcome the inertia, to take the driver’s wheel of your own vehicle, with some sense of the road ahead?

How will we find the determination to take action to prepare for a future completely unlike the past?

Relinquish belief systems that support fantasy over practical reality, that encourage a victim mentality rather than self-responsibility, such as:

• Belief in divine rescue
• Seeing the spiritual as a welfare system of rewards and punishment,
• Seeing life as a gift given for every individual’s personal edification, life being about lessons to be learned.
• Belief in aliens as extra-dimensional, discounting their real, physical presence.

Begin to recognize forces of good and forces that distort what is good, that alter reality by emphasizing preferences and divisions. Acknowledge the vulnerability of humanity’s greatest achievement–our spirituality–when it can be hijacked for other, unknown agenda:

• when it is used as a distraction from the demands of mundane existence
• when meaning is converted to spiritual principles that overlook basic and real needs and requirements
• when superstition rules
• when a display of sophisticated understanding is a seduction into teacher/mentor/ playing off the idea of “space brother” relationship.

3. Unity

The influence from the outside, from the Greater Community, will seek to stimulate dissension, as it is doing now.

What will unite us, as has been pointed out, is a common enemy, once we see the imperative to unite against this greatest calamity we face together.

Once again it is necessary to relinquish any and every suggestion that we are helpless or hopeless. Some of these suggestions have come from the outside in order to encourage us to feel weak and fragmented. For instance:

• This is not our own world
• Our “space brothers” are watching over us
• The aliens were here first.

Not to forget: hanging on to hopes and expectations based on the presumption we are the only intelligent life in the universe is to fail to see our conflicts and division against the backdrop of a bigger threat.

You will not remain a free world if you continue your struggle with one another—your dissensions, your competition, your violence, your wars. Fighting amongst yourselves, you have no idea of the presence of those who are intervening, or the many eyes in your local universe who are watching you, and all the errors of humanity being broadcast out into space for the discreet observer to see—your tribes warring with one another in a beautiful world that is desired by others.
